EmployerLens is designed to be privacy-respecting by default. We do not require accounts, do not use tracking cookies, and collect minimal data.

What we collect

• Search queries: We log which companies are searched (company number and search term) for analytics purposes. These are anonymous and not tied to any user identity.
• Payment information: We do not currently require payment to access reports. If paid features are introduced again in future, payment processing details will be updated here.
• Analytics: We use privacy-first analytics (no cookies, no personal data) to understand how the site is used.

What we don't collect

• We do not require user accounts or registration
• We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers
• We do not collect personal data for the free report
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties

Data about companies

All company data displayed on EmployerLens is sourced from publicly available registers (Companies House, GOV.UK Gender Pay Gap Service, Living Wage Foundation). This data is already in the public domain and available to anyone.

Data retention

Cached company data is refreshed every 24 hours. Purchased reports are retained indefinitely for buyer access. Search logs are retained for 90 days.
